Terms of service

The deal, in plain English. Effective 13 October 2026.

1. Who we are

Kingsrow Studio is a sole trader business based in Ireland, building websites for small businesses in Ireland and the United Kingdom. In these terms "we" and "us" mean Kingsrow Studio, and "you" means the business that asks us to build a site.

2. What we do

• Design and build a website for your business, usually within about five working days of getting your details.
• Set up your Google Business Profile and connect it to the site, where you want us to.
• Give you one NFC review card with each new site, so customers can leave a Google review with a tap of their phone.
• Host the site and look after it every month, as described in section 5.

3. We build first. You decide.

There is no deposit and no contract before you have seen the work. Once the site is ready we send you a private link. You have 14 days from that link to tell us whether you want to keep it.

• If you keep it, we send you a secure payment link and the site goes live on your domain once the first payment clears.
• If you don't, or we hear nothing within 14 days, we take the preview down. No invoice, nothing to pay, no hard feelings.

Small corrections before you decide — a wrong phone number, a price, a photo you'd rather swap — are part of the build and cost nothing.

4. Prices and payment

• United Kingdom: £429 for the build, then £39 a month. Your first payment is £468 (the build plus the first month).
• Ireland: €497 for the build, then €49 a month. Your first payment is €546 (the build plus the first month).

Payments are taken by card through Stripe, a regulated payment provider. We never see or store your card number. The monthly fee is charged automatically on the same date each month. The prices shown are the full amounts you pay.

If a monthly payment fails, Stripe will email you and try again over the following days. If it is still unpaid 14 days after it was due, we may pause the site until it is paid. We will always tell you before we do.

5. What the monthly fee covers

• Hosting, backups, a secure (https) connection, and keeping the site fast and working.
• Your domain name, registered and paid for by us while you are on the monthly plan.
• Any changes to your site you want, as often as you want — prices, opening hours, photos, text, sections and pages. There is no hourly rate.
• Keeping your Google Business Profile up to date: holiday hours, recent work, replies to reviews, where you've asked us to.

The only thing outside the monthly fee is a genuinely new product built on top of your site, such as an online shop that takes payments. If you ever want one, we'll give you a fixed price first, and nothing happens unless you agree to it.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel the monthly fee at any time, either from your customer portal (the link we send after your first payment) or by emailing hello@kingsrowstudio.com. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for. Part months are not refunded.
• The build fee is not refundable once you have chosen to keep the site, because you saw the finished work before paying for it.
• When the service ends we take the site offline. If you ask within 30 days, we will send you a copy of your site's files free of charge, so you can host it elsewhere.

If you are buying as a consumer rather than as a business, you keep any rights to cancel that consumer law gives you. Nothing in these terms takes those away.

7. Your domain, your content, your site

• Your domain name is yours. We register it in your business's name, and we'll hand over control whenever you ask. If you leave, renewing it after that is up to you.
• You confirm that you have the right to use any text, logos and photos you send us. Photos we supply are properly licensed for your site.
• Once you have paid, the content of your site is yours to keep.
• We may show your site in our portfolio as an example of our work. If you would rather we didn't, just say so.

8. What we can and can't promise

We build carefully and fix anything that is our fault, quickly and at no cost to you. What we cannot promise is a particular position on Google, a number of reviews, or a number of calls or customers — those depend on things outside our control, such as your competitors, your location and how Google ranks businesses.

If something does go wrong, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you have paid us in the 12 months before it happened. We are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit. None of this limits anything the law says cannot be limited.

9. Your data

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update this page, and if you are a customer we will email you at least 30 days before the change affects you. You can cancel before then if you don't agree.

11. If we disagree

Please tell us first at hello@kingsrowstudio.com — most things are sorted with one email. These terms are governed by the law of Ireland and disputes go to the Irish courts. If you are a consumer living in the United Kingdom, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
